Student Musical Activities update on COVID-19

We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and doing well during these challenging times.
All Fall 2020 SMA activities, rehearsals, and events will be conducted remotely until such time as campus and public health directives allow the safe return to in-person and group gatherings. Please contact SMA group directors, staff, and student managers by email.
At this time, most of our groups are planning remote activities and rehearsals. Please visit the individual group sites for their up-to-date plans.
Student Musical Activities’ staff and students share what is surely your deep disappointment over this unprecedented decision. We also understand that these actions have the power to make a real difference in the fight to slow this pandemic, not just for the health and safety of our own patrons, students, and staff members, but for the wider community as well. We’re proud to stand alongside so many individual community members, university colleagues, and performing arts organizations in working together to take meaningful action.
Many of you have expressed concern about the financial impact of these cancellations on our student groups. We invite you to extend your support during this challenging time by making a donation of any size.
Like all of you, we look forward to the time when we are all able to—once again—enjoy together the tremendous power of the live student performances.
